The Fourth Beekeeping Revolution

REDEFINING THE FUTURE WITH NATURAL PRECISION
At BREAT, we are proud to stand at the forefront of the next evolution in beekeeping. Inspired by the remarkable geometry and precision of bees themselves, and powered by decades of advanced engineering experience, we have achieved what was once thought impossible:
A patented machine that creates perfect honeycombs from pure, natural beeswax — just like bees do, only faster and without stress to the colony.
This innovation isn’t just a technological breakthrough — it’s a revolution.
Throughout history, beekeeping has transformed through three pivotal inventions:
  • In 1851, Lorenzo Langstroth revolutionized hive design with the movable frame, giving beekeepers unprecedented access and control.
  • In 1865, Franz Hruschka introduced the centrifugal honey extractor, making honey harvesting more efficient and less destructive.
  • In 1857, Johannes Mehring brought us the embossed wax foundation, supporting bees in building their combs faster and with better consistency.
Today, over 150 years later, BREAT brings the fourth great revolution to beekeeping:
✅ The mechanical production of complete, natural beeswax honeycombs
✅ A patented and unique technology — no one else in the world offers this
✅ Made with 100% natural beeswax, with zero chemicals, zero additives
✅ Designed to perfectly replicate the natural comb geometry that bees instinctively recognize and accept
But our innovation doesn’t stop with the machine.
We now make this breakthrough directly available to all beekeepers, without requiring any machinery investment.
Our ready-to-use natural beeswax honeycombs can be inserted straight into your frames — allowing your bees to immediately focus on what they do best: producing honey and raising healthy brood.

This is a completely new and revolutionary technology we are introducing to the world of beekeeping.”

Why Use Ready-Made Natural Honeycombs?

Unmatched Benefits for Bees, Beekeepers, and the Planet
Our ready-to-use honeycombs — made from 100% pure beeswax and crafted by our patented technology — offer exceptional advantages that no other combs on the market can match. Whether you manage a small hobbyist hive or a large commercial apiary, the benefits are both immediate and long-term.
🐝 Benefits for Bees

More time for honey, less energy on wax production
Producing wax is an energy-intensive task for bees. By providing them with complete honeycombs, bees are freed from this burden and can focus entirely on what matters most: producing honey and raising healthy brood.

Healthier hives, naturally
Our combs are made exclusively from natural beeswax — no chemicals, no residues, and no recycled contaminants. This translates into a cleaner environment inside the hive, reducing the risks of disease, contamination, or wax-related stress.

Perfect geometry, instantly accepted
The hexagonal structure of our honeycombs is identical to what bees naturally build themselves. The result? Immediate acceptance by the colony, ensuring seamless integration and optimal colony performance from day one.

Improved brood nest conditions
The thermal and spatial consistency of our combs provides ideal conditions for brood rearing — helping ensure stronger, more resilient generations of bees.
👨‍🌾 Benefits for Beekeepers

Save time and labor
No need to wait for bees to draw out foundation or spend time installing wax sheets. Our combs arrive ready to install — simply fix them into your frames and place them in the hive.

Boosted honey production
With bees no longer using energy to produce wax, colonies redirect their efforts to nectar collection and honey processing — leading to noticeably higher yields per season.

Lower operating costs and higher returns
Our honeycombs last longer, resist warping, and help reduce the number of interventions per hive. The result is greater efficiency, fewer losses, and higher profitability.

Consistent quality across your entire apiary
Each comb is machine-made to exact specifications, ensuring uniformity and stability throughout your beekeeping operation — a critical factor in managing hive health and performance at scale.
🌍 Benefits for the Environment
No chemicals, no waste
By avoiding artificial wax foundations and recycled materials, we ensure that nothing harmful enters the hive or the surrounding environment.

Support bee health, support biodiversity
Healthier bees mean healthier ecosystems. By helping colonies thrive without synthetic interference, BREAT technology contributes directly to the preservation of pollinator populations — essential for global agriculture and biodiversity.

Using BREAT’s honeycombs is like giving your bees a head start every season — and it shows in their health, productivity, and resilience. ”

How Are BREAT Honeycombs Made?

A Fully Automated, Patented Process — Unique in the World
At the heart of our innovation lies a machine unlike any other in the beekeeping world. Fully patented, designed and built in Spain, this system is the first and only technology that can mechanically produce ready-to-use natural beeswax honeycombs, with no additives, no chemicals, and no compromise in quality.
Here's how our breakthrough process works:
🔧 Step 1: Wax Storage and Melting
The process begins with pure, natural beeswax, which is stored in a sealed stainless steel tank. The wax is gently heated until it reaches its ideal liquid state, ensuring that none of its beneficial natural properties are lost.
🧼 Step 2: Filtration
The melted wax passes through a fine filtration system to remove any impurities or debris. This results in clean, high-quality beeswax, ready to be shaped into honeycomb.
🧩 Step 3: Injection into a Continuous Mold
The filtered wax is then injected into a patented continuous silicone mold that perfectly replicates the hexagonal structure of natural honeycomb — down to the millimeter. This mold travels through a controlled tunnel where the wax is shaped and begins to solidify.
❄️ Step 4: Cooling and Extraction
As the wax travels through the tunnel, it cools gradually and solidifies into a firm yet flexible honeycomb sheet. The machine then automatically extracts the formed honeycomb from the mold.
✂️ Step 5: Cutting and Stacking
The finished honeycomb is cut to size according to the beekeeper’s specifications — whether for Langstroth, Dadant, Layens, or other frame formats. Each sheet is then neatly stacked and packaged, ready for delivery and immediate use in the hive.
⚙️ Technical Highlights
  • Machine size: 16 m (L) x 8 m (W) x 2.2 m (H)
  • Central production unit: 11.7 m (L) x 2.1 m (W)
  • Modular design: Easily transportable and adaptable
  • Output: High-volume production with consistent quality
  • Clean process: No exposure to contaminants or human contact during production
This revolutionary process not only replicates the natural geometry bees expect — it also ensures that each sheet of honeycomb is uniform, sterile, durable, and perfectly suited for use in any professional beekeeping setup.

Our machine represents the highest level of engineering applied to one of nature’s most delicate and vital processes. ”
